Complying with the social distancing measures and with our community-social commitment, during the month of July, we will have our First Virtual 5K Race. Participate in this virtual 5K race (7,000 steps or 3 miles), which you can run or walk anywhere you like: on a treadmill, in your backyard, or wherever is accessible and comfortable for you. You can also dance, jump, skate or take a bike ride.

From May 3, 2021 to June 25, 2021, you will be able to sign up for the 5K.

 

To perform the virtual race:

 

• The race called: “Buen Pastor Virtual 5K, ON YOUR WAY!”, organized by the Buen Pastor Human-Spiritual Renewal and Development Center, Inc. (Buen Pastor Center), can be completed from July 1, 2021, to 6:00 am, until July 31, 2021, at 6:00 pm.

 

• The race is open to the general public. Children can participate and in this case, the parent or guardian is responsible for the minor, is the one who authorizes and completes the registration.

 

• To participate, you must complete the registration and make a $20.00 donation by PayPal or ATH Móvil at (787) 235-0242. All registration and payment will be through the website: www.centrobuenpastor.org.

 

• No money refund is made for times not completed. 

 

• This event is a virtual race, it is not an official timing event. If you want to measure your time, you can use the applications: Endomondo, Strava, Runkeeper or whatever you like. 

 

• Each participant will carry out their event at their own responsibility and risk. By registering, you relieve the Buen Pastor Center of any eventuality that may occur in the race. No person will be able to participate in the race without having signed the registration form. 

 

• It is recommended to consult with your doctor before beginning any new exercise routine. 

 

• At the end of your 5K, you can send a photo that evidences your time, via email: virtual5kcbp@gmail.com

 

• The first 500 registered people will receive a medal of the event. On August 7, 2021, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, we will deliver the medals at the Buen Pastor Center.

 

Your registration will be a direct donation, to benefit our programs: Psychological-Spiritual Counseling; CJA Family School and #JóvenesSomos.
